  • Counsel on licensing and proper use of brand assets

Promotions, Offers and Subscriptions

  • Review and counsel on all types of promotions, offers and subscriptions, including pricing promotions, product and discount offers, and subscriptions services (such as auto-renewal subscription services)

  • Draft relevant terms and disclaimers

Talent and Influencer Engagement

  • Provide end-to-end legal support for working with talent and creators

  • Draft and negotiate talent and influencer agreements

  • Advise on union compliance and related considerations

  • Review scripts, deliverables, and campaign materials

  • Support high-profile talent engagements

  • Advise on social media messaging in line with legal requirements and platform rules

  • Advise at all stages of creative production, including ideation, agency engagement (if applicable), script review, talent/vendor engagement, media buying, and more

Product and Sustainability Claims

  • Advise on product and sustainability claims, including compliance with FTC rules (e.g. FTC’s endorsement guides and Green Guides)

  • Counsel on substantiation needed to support claims

Contests and Sweepstakes

  • Advise on structuring compliant contests and sweepstakes

  • Draft official rules and promotional terms
